Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry, was too busy at work to do any doodling.
But I did find this cool fan video from my new favorite band:

Wednesday doodle

So every Wednesday I get to be in a long boring meeting at work.
I don't mind it, because it gives me a chance to draw something, while the producers and designers drone on and on and on.
I guess they gotta earn their paycheck somehow.
So anyway, maybe this'll become a weekly post, my Wednesday doodles.

Here's what I drew today, some sort of thing with wings:

favorite band

Explosions in the Sky, I just listen to them all day, over and over.
And while I listen to them, I forget I'm listening to them. I love that.
My mind just starts floating around thoughts, and I can focus better at work, I just get sealed in this amazingly beautiful headphones world. This music sounds like the stuff I wish I created. Just simple, clean, easy guitars, a little weirdness and digital noise and rock and roll thrown in, and tons of emotion and drama. I love how their simple little guitar lines just build and build to this intense crescendo.
It's very cinematic music, too, I'll use when I get to make a movie. :)

So here's their whole new album.

Best Bike Route in America

Last Saturday, I knew it'd be one of the last sunny and warm days up in SF, so I decided to go on an epic bike ride on my roadie.
Here's the route I took, starting out in the south, near SF Zoo, North along the Great Highway, a loop through GG Park, out along Ocean Beach, up to the Cliff House and Sutro Baths, along Land's End, up to the Legion of Honor, and then out to the Presidio, to the Bridge, and back.

Here's a collection of photos along the way to prove my claims:

Stopped for some coffee at Java Beach, I know coffee dehydrates you, but whatever, I needed a boost.

Pimp washin' his pimp car.

This shot is from Sutro Heights, just past the Cliff House, it's 3 photos I stitched together in photoshop, not the best stitching job, oh well.

Another panorama, I didn't even try to blend 'em together sorry, but what're ya gonna do? :P

My awesome bike on the railing.

Over the railing!

From the other side, Sausalito.

A cute row of houses near the park, on the return journey.

One of 2 cool old Dutch Windmills that guard the west end of GG Park.

Sunset in the Sunset District, Ocean Beach.

tsssssss... As the sun sinks into the Pacific. People around me actually applauded, as the sun set. Good job, Sun. Thanks for a great day.

25 mile bike ride done, like a boss!

Oh yeah, I started a blog...

Ok, until I finish some artsy projects, I'll post some pics from a recent trip to Zion National Park a few weeks ago.
(oh these photos uploaded in the opposite order, lol, still a blog noob)
